2‑pipe system with 4‑pipe system comfort

In a 2-pipe system, the entire building is typically operated either in heating mode or in cooling mode. Is that correct?

With the Katherm HK E, individual rooms can now use the electric heating function when the rest of the building is still being cooled. This greatly increases comfort.

And the savings in material and installation effort compared to 4-pipe systems are enormous. This results in reductions in CO2 emissions along the value chain, which have a positive effect on the building’s environmental footprint. Especially as the share of green electricity increases.

Materials and colors

Choose aluminum grilles in various anodized color shades. Or wood grilles in different versions. Polished stainless steel grilles are also available for your trench technology.

Variety of shapes

In project business, adaptations and special constructions are the norm. That is why Katherm trench technology is available for all geometries with mitred corners, curved versions, column cut-outs or angled designs.

Low temperature

Trench technology has a long tradition in front of floor-to-ceiling windows. High-quality Perimeter Heating units and fan support have successfully adapted it to low-temperature technology . Thanks to EC tangential fans, operation is highly efficient.

Hygienic

As one of the few trench technology systems on the market, the Katherm HK features a simple, well-thought-out cleaning concept. Thanks to improved condensate drainage for cooling operation and the easy cleaning of the condensate tray, the Katherm HK is hygienically impeccable.

Installation

Kampmann products are delivered to the construction site sorted by type and ready on pallets. Everything is packaged and labelled as efficiently as possible. If required, the units are marked with item numbers so that they can be assigned to the respective floors and installation location.

BIM data

Use the BIM data sets for Kampmann Katherm trench technology to ensure a smooth planning phase. They include unit dimensions, technical dimensions of the water and electrical connections, as well as performance data.

Measurement

To avoid inaccuracies, measurements are taken by our technicians using 2D or 3D lasers. This ensures a precise and efficient measurement process. The handover to our project department then takes place automatically.
