Minimum noise
Katherm QK nano is acoustically optimized and fits perfectly into acoustically sensitive rooms. The sound power level is measured in accordance with EN ISO 3744 in a semi-anechoic sound measuring room.
200 variants
The channel height of the Katherm QK nano is only 70 mm. Depending on the control version, different channel lengths are available. This makes (almost) unrestricted use of the room possible. As a rule, it is installed with a small distance directly at the facade.
Optimal use of space
The Katherm QK nano is characterized by its small dimensions, ideal for rooms with increased heating requirements but only limited space available. The EC cross-flow fans in a compact design allow for a low channel height of only 70 mm. This enables easy installation in a raised floor or screed. Despite the low installation height, Katherm QK nano can cover high heat loads in the room.
Heating in low-temperature and heat pump operation
The Katherm QK nano is suitable for use with a heat pump or another low-temperature system. Thanks to fan support, especially at low system temperatures with warm water, you quickly achieve 3-4 times the output compared to conventional radiators. This reduces your energy demand and heating costs and, ultimately, greenhouse gas emissions as well.
FineLine grilles
The FineLine grille was developed specially for the Katherm QK nano. A rigid grille made of flow-optimized profiles as a orthogonal grille (FineLine Q) or linear grille (FineLine L).
Available in powder-coated steel in the colors RAL 9006 (White aluminium), RAL 9007 (Grey aluminium), RAL 9005 (Black), DB 703 (Basalt grey) or in stainless steel.
Short installation time
Thanks to the valve connection, quick and easy installation of the Katherm QK nano is possible on site. Height adjustment screws and step-resistant height adjustment feet are supplied as standard. This reduces installation time and therefore costs.
Short delivery times
The Katherm QK nano standard channels are available with short delivery times. This guarantees planning reliability and security during project execution.
Protection during installation and construction time
Our Katherm trench technology products are carefully packed in cardboard packaging for transport. The grille edge trim profiles are protected against damage by green plastic profiles. A sustainable paper cover prevents dust and dirt from entering.
As the units are often installed in the building at an early construction stage, the grille can be replaced at the factory with a wooden installation cover for their protection for an additional charge. The grilles are then supplied separately packed.
Control options
KaControl MC
With the integrated KaControl MC control, the Katherm QK nano offers bidirectional communication for up to 10 units within one group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP.
Electromechanical control
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
