Heating and cooling with low temperature and heat pump

The Ultra is ideal for large rooms with extensive floor areas. Its design makes it especially suitable for heating in low temperature operation. In combination with a KaClima heat pump, it creates a future-proof, energy-efficient system – a simple solution for removing heating and cooling loads.

Targeted air guidance

With its hexagonal shape, the Ultra features a 6-sided air outlet that enables optimum horizontal air distribution. The direction can be adjusted in 6 ways using louvers.

The unit is available in four sizes.

Installation options

The Ultra also ensures optimum air distribution in rooms with low ceiling heights between 2.3 m and 4 m without drafts.

Timeless design

The Ultra has become synonymous with efficient, responsive air conditioning in consumer markets. Its hexagonal casing is its signature feature. 

Easy Maintenance

Maintenance of the Ultra is extremely simple. The bottom cover can be easily removed for cleaning the externally mounted pump sump and float switch.

Technical features

With primary air supply

  • Supply of primary air in combination with a central ventilation system is possible via an optional supply air connection that can be connected to a round pipe.

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • Infinitely variable EC motor of the fan operates with particularly high energy efficiency and is extremely quiet.
  • Exactly the required output is delivered, without a single watt too much and without a single decibel more than necessary.
  • The fan complies with the ErP requirements.

Integrated full motor protection

  • The „intelligent“ motor electronics detect any motor fault that may occur and automatically switch off the fan.
  • This fault can be externally evaluated.

High output with compact dimensions

  • Thanks to the heat exchanger with a large surface area, the Ultra achieves both high heating outputs in low temperature operation at low heating medium temperatures and maximum cooling outputs.
  • The special heat exchanger also enables a particularly low overall height. This means the Ultra can be installed in a space-saving manner below an open or suspended ceiling.

Control options

KaControl MC

With the integrated KaControl MC control, the Ultra offers bidirectional communication for up to 10 units within one group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP. 

Electromechanical control

This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
