The Tandem air curtain for ceiling installation works with a pre-air curtain and heated air curtain and ensures a comfortable indoor climate.

Effective cold air screening
The Tandem ceiling-mounted unit increases comfort in the entrance area. Thanks to the pre-air curtain, it improves effective cold air screening and reduces energy losses.
Pre-air curtain and warm-air curtain
The air curtain is equipped with so-called tandem technology, which creates a pre-air curtain and heated air curtain. The pre-air curtain is not heated; it protects against energetically disadvantageous turbulence in the heated air curtain. The separation of the two air curtains reduces the heating demand and leads to faster payback compared to conventional units as well as more climate-friendly operation.
Model sizes
The unit is available in a width of 800 mm and a height of 300 mm and is offered in four different lengths.
Installation options
An air discharge height of 2.7 - 3.2 m is achieved.

Maintenance made easy
Maintenance is extremely simple: The large-area filter, including frame and intake grille, can be removed with minimal effort .
The large revision flap is also practical. The entire underside of the unit can be opened in just a few simple steps.
Technical features
Air outlet
- Adjustable air outlet rectifiers ensure a directed, low-turbulence air outlet.
- They can be swiveled up to 20°.
Low temperature operation
- For additional energy savings, operation of the air curtain in conjunction with a heat pump at low temperature is recommended.
- The heated air curtain also benefits from this, as it reaches the floor more efficiently due to lower temperature differences.
Control options
KaControl MC
The Tandem ceiling-mounted unit offers bidirectional communication for up to 10 units within one group/room via CAN bus with the integrated KaControl MC control. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP.
Electromechanical control
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
