Decentralised Ventilation Units

Decentralized ventilation units provide supply and extract air ventilation for individual rooms as compact standalone units without an air distribution system. Because they require only minimal intervention in the building structure, they are particularly suitable for revitalization. They also increase the design options for individual room use – including in new buildings.

Our decentralized ventilation units enable versatile operation: from primary air and secondary air to mixed air and heat recovery through to comfortable temperature control in 2-pipe or 4-pipe systems – completely independent of ventilation demand.

  • Decentralized ventilation including heat and moisture recovery
  • Extensive product range from façade-near compact units and parapet and façade units through to underfloor variants
  • Healthy indoor air quality with precisely matched air changes
  • Unit range from pure supply and extract air ventilation to full air-conditioning units

Highlights

School ventilation with one-button operation

Mechanical ventilation in schools helps contain waves of illness. To avoid disturbing concentrated work , quiet operation and a sufficient supply air volume are essential. Our WZA operates at a sound pressure level of only 35 dB(A) in nominal air operation while delivering 800 m³/h – naturally with 100% outdoor air as well as heat and moisture recovery.

Enthalpy heat exchanger

The enthalpy exchanger in the WZA is used not only for heat recovery, but also protects the natural defence against viruses through moisture recovery. The residual risk of infection is reduced by half. Our decentralized ventilation units achieve moisture recovery rates of 65 %. At the same time, the enthalpy exchanger prevents the formation of condensate, making installation and operation easier.

High-end ventilation from the floor

The decentralized ventilation unit UZS features high-quality components for the functions supply air, secondary air, heating and cooling. The underfloor unit is placed directly at the façade, usually below full-height windows. Only a 345 mm wide design grille remains visible, which can be easily removed for maintenance purposes.

Decentralised ventilation in the office

In new office buildings, ventilation systems are now standard. Compared with central ventilation systems, decentralized units offer the advantage of room-specific temperature control and ventilation. Parapet or façade units and underfloor variants are particularly suitable. In existing buildings, retrofitting decentralized units is the best choice thanks to the very minimal intervention in the building structure

mixed air vs. displacement ventilation

In offices, displacement ventilation is ideally suited, but not in schools. In classrooms, because of the high number of occupants, mixed ventilation is the right choice. Large volumes of air are introduced along the ceiling, then descend into the entire room at low air velocity and flush through it without draughts.

Our products

WZA

  • Ventilate
The WZA is a floor-standing ventilation unit specially designed for classrooms. It offers supply air and extract air functions with integrated heat and humidity recovery.

UZS

  • Heating
  • Cooling
  • Ventilate
The UZS for heating, cooling and ventilation is designed for installation in a raised floor. It provides an outdoor air supply via a facade connection and increases performance through the admixture of secondary air.

Our service offerings

We support you in every phase of your project. Our extensive network of employees in sales and service ensures our exceptional service level. At one of our locations, on-site, or digitally.

Installation

Kampmann products are delivered to the construction site sorted by type and ready on pallets. Everything is packaged and labelled as efficiently as possible. If required, the units are marked with item numbers so that they can be assigned to the respective floors and installation location.

BIM data

Use the BIM data sets for Kampmann units to ensure a smooth planning phase. They include unit dimensions, technical dimensions of the water and electrical connections, as well as performance data.

Measurement

To avoid inaccuracies, measurements are taken by our technicians using 2D or 3D lasers. This ensures a precise and efficient measurement process. The handover to our project department then takes place automatically.

Maintenance and inspection

Maintenance and inspection are the key to the longevity and safety of technical systems. Regular checks prevent costly failures and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Control technology

The connectivity of TGA components in buildings is state of the art. Standardized automation networks ensure coordinated interaction between systems across different building services trades.

Repair

Our experienced experts provide fast and competent support and ensure that every repair is carried out precisely and efficiently. With expertise and care, they extend the service life of the units and save costs in the long term.
