Variable in use

With TOP C, you can also implement building cooling in hall air conditioning in your projects. It combines the functions heating or cooling in a 2-pipe system in one unit. This allows you to dissipate both heating and cooling loads.

High-quality sheet steel housing

Equipped with a robust and corrosion-resistant housing made of galvanized sheet steel, the TOP C Unit Heater is ideally suited to achieve comfortable hall air conditioning in warehouses, production areas, and sales areas.

Heating and cooling in low temperature operation and heat pump operation

The TOP C Unit Heaters can save energy and CO₂ in low temperature operation and are compatible with all water-based heating systems. With reversible heat pumps, it also provides cooling – without a separate chiller.

Alternatively, it can be combined with a KaClima heat pump and thus offers a future-proof, energy-efficient system for heating and cooling that meets the growing demand for building cooling and creates a comfortable working environment.

Technical features

Copper/aluminum heat exchanger

  • The copper/aluminum heat exchanger is particularly lightweight and achieves high heat outputs with compact dimensions.
  • Suitable for low-temperature heating systems and pumped hot-water heating systems
  • Not suitable for steam and thermal oil

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • Continuously variable EC motor of the fan, delivering exactly the required output needed by the hall.
  • Particularly energy-efficient and extremely quiet the fan delivers exactly the required output needed by the hall.
  • Complies with ErP requirements

condensate connection

  • For wet cooling, TOP C is standard equipped with a droplet separator with drain connection and a condensate tray for free condensate drain.
  • Optionally, a version with an attached high-performance condensate pump with float switch is also available.

Full motor protection

  • Standard motor protection basket
  • Integrated motor monitoring, which switches off the motor in the event of overload.
  • Depending on the control, shut-down of individual units or an entire group
  • Motor fault can be evaluated externally.

Hybrid concept

Central ventilation – decentralized temperature control: The combination of central ventilation via an AHU unit and decentralized air conditioning with pumped hot water and chilled water enables efficient heating and cooling.

Control options

KaControl MC

TOP C offers bidirectional communication for up to 10 units within one group/room via CAN bus with the integrated KaControl MC control. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP . 

Electromechanical control

This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
