PowerKon LT heat pump-based heaters are modern, fan-assisted heaters, also known as low-temperature heaters, which have been specifically developed for use in conjunction with heat pump systems in existing and new buildings. Their use provides for the energy-efficient refurbishment of offices and administrative buildings by switching to a heat pump system, which offers maximum efficiency, comfort and sustainability.
PowerKon LT units stand out on account of their extremely quiet operation at only 26 dB(A) plus a modern, shallow design that can be unobtrusively integrated into office spaces. Apart from providing efficient heating, heat pump-based heaters also offer an optional cooling function for the summer – a decisive comfort benefit for high-end properties. Units are supplied with cold water from the heat pump. Dry cooling is always possible with heat pumps with a cooling function. Wet cooling is also possible if certain structural requirements are met.
PowerKon LT units are easily controlled using innovative touch displays or thermostatic heads, and can also be integrated into smart building technology.
PowerKon LT units reveal their full potential particularly in existing office buildings or administrative buildings, where traditional radiators often make the integration of a heat pump difficult. In these cases, PowerKon LT units can be fitted into the existing pipework systems without the need for complex structural work, avoiding lengthy and expensive renovations. The system can be converted while the office is still running, thus saving time. There is no need to open up the floor, as is the case with underfloor heating. This also keeps downtime to a minimum.

With a supply temperature of only 35 °C, PowerKon LT units work 25 – 35% more efficiently than conventional radiators with high-temperature systems. Offices and administrative buildings thus achieve a significantly improved Annual Performance Factor (APF), which reduces operating costs in the long term and, at the same time, improves the carbon footprint of the property. This means: added attractiveness on the market and an increased value of the properties through lower ancillary costs and compliance with current energy legislation.
PowerKon LT units are largely made of recyclable EPP, comply with the VDI 6022 Hygiene Directive and thus meet all hygiene criteria. Heat pump-based heaters contribute to environmentally friendly heating technology, but are also easy to maintain and durable.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are available for the PowerKon LT, which can be easily submitted in all usual building sustainability certification systems, such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED. By certifiying buildings, they are actively supporting sustainable buildings.
