Variable air guidance

The SAL slot air diffuser is equipped with patented eccentric rollers. The eccentric rollers enable variable air guidance and can be adjusted at any time afterwards, continuously between 0° and 180°. On request, each individual roller element is supplied ex works in a defined setting that can be read on the roller body. This not only guarantees maximum comfort, but also saves time-consuming balancing work. The air diffuser setting is also retained during cleaning.

Flexible design

The SAL slot air diffuser is available in widths from 35 mm. Thanks to multi-row designs, band arrangements and mitred corners at almost any angle, SAL can be optimally adapted to any room situation. For band versions, connection and centering profiles are supplied as standard.

Model sizes

The SAL slot diffuser is available in two sizes .

  • The first variant, SAL35, can be optionally motor-adjustable.
  • The second variant, SAL50, has a slot length of 500 to 2000 millimetres. SAL50 is available in 1 to 4 rows.

Color variants

Thanks to the large number of possible paint finishes and anodized finishes, SAL can either be discreetly integrated into the room architecture or deliberately used as a colour design element .

Application areas

  • in offices, conference rooms, IT rooms, cleanrooms, department stores, cinemas, theatres etc.  
  • in comfort areas with medium room heights in heating and cooling mode
  • in areas with high air change rates and low air velocities
  • for variable air volume systems

Comfortable mixed ventilation

Thanks to the patented eccentric rollers, high volume flows at low sound power levels can be achieved, and thanks to the high room air induction temperature differences and air velocities are quickly reduced in order to eliminate draught risks.

Easy hydronic balancing

Thanks to the optional front-operable damper , volume flows can be adjusted after installation of SAL. This is done simply using a screwdriver through the front panel.

Easy installation

The SAL slot diffuser can be designed in two variants: with a cover profile (ZS) and end plates or with a 12 mm wide support profile (ZB) and end angles. In the latter case, the front profile can be mounted either with a pre-assembled slot rail or with a crossbar on the plenum box.

These options enable fast and easy ceiling installation with which the installer saves time.
