Integrated air-guiding elements

The large number of air-guiding elements (supporting airfoil profile), optimized in terms of airflow and acoustics, is visually appealing and allows trouble-free use even with high cooling loads and low room heights. The gradual reduction of the outlet cross-section of the air-guiding elements enables subsequent adjustment to changed air volumes and discharge temperatures, even when installed.

Harmonious appearance

By using blind elements or double clips, the discharge impulse, throw or jet thickness can be varied without affecting the appearance of the swirl air diffuser.

Model sizes

The DAL359 swirl air diffuser is available in six nominal sizes from DN 300 to DN 800 in square or round and offers linear slot diffusers with two profile widths.

Design variants

The DAL359 is versatile and can be supplied in both round and square versions. It is suitable for installation in existing grid ceilings as well as suspended.

Application areas

  • in the comfort zone of office and administrative buildings, clean rooms, department stores or multipurpose halls
  • suitable for mixed ventilation when high air volumes are required
  • suitable for constant as well as variable air volume systems

Variable jet pattern

Three jet patterns are possible: rotating, one-sided or two-sided:

  • In the standard setting, the eccentric rollers generate a rotating ceiling jet with swirl component and associated high induction.
  • The one-sided air discharge direction is achieved by setting all rollers of one half of the diffuser opposite to those of the other half.
  • A two-sided ceiling jet results from opposite roller settings of two quarter-circle segments each.
