Overview
Thanks to its effective cold air screening, the Tandem DX reduces energy losses from the building, increasing comfort in the entrance area.
The unit can be used in all retail stores, as the waste heat from commercial cooling systems can actively be used.
Tandem door air curtains work by generating an ambient and warm air stream. The ambient air stream is not heated, instead it protects from the adverse energy-related turbulence of the warm air stream. This saves up to 38% energy, as the heat requirement is reduced by the high screening effect.
The Tandem DX makes possible heating with the natural refrigerant CO2 (R-744).
Valves on site can be fitted behind the casing and so are concealed from view.
Adjustable air outlet rectifiers ensure a rectified, low-turbulence air discharge. They can be swivelled by up to 20°.

Maintenance is very simple. The large filter, including frame and intake grille, can be removed with ease. The large revision flap is also practical. The entire base of the unit can be opened in a matter of moments.
The Tandem DX can be installed as a visually continuous strip using a connection kit (accessory) or connected to other units.
The maximum operating pressure of the unit is 130 bar.
