Lingen (Ems), 26.05.2011 – Heinrich Kampmann's entrepreneurial successes have now been recognised by the Minister President of Lower Saxony, David McAllister, with the award of the Order of Merit.
Heinrich Kampmann's entrepreneurial successes have now been recognised by the Minister President of Lower Saxony, David McAllister, with the award of the Order of Merit. Heinrich Kampmann set up a one-man company in Lingen (Ems) in 1972 and over the years transformed it into the market leader with systems for heating, cooling and air conditioning. When he handed over the company to his son Hendrik in 2006, the company had a workforce of 523, a figure that has since increased to 700 people, with sales of 70 million euros (2010) At the ceremony to mark the award of the Order of Merit, Kampmann GmbH was held up as a model sustainable company with an above-average equity ratio.
Heinrich Kampmann was also honoured for his cultural involvement and the International Festival of Dressage initiated by him. The annual tournament is a massive image boost to the town of Lingen (Ems) and to the region's equestrian sport as well.
