World first: KaDeck - flexible air conditioning for the ceiling
Kampmann launches its KaDeck thereby introducing ultra-flexible ceiling-mounted air conditioning for offices, commercial buildings and hotels.
Frankfurt/Lingen (Ems), 10.03.2015: Kampmann GmbH will be launching the KaDeck at the ISH, an extremely shallow cooling system, the versatile uses of which are unique. The unit fits perfectly into suspended ceilings with a height of only 160 mm, is also available as an under-ceiling unit and can be installed on the wall or in the centre of a room.
Hygiene-certified in line with VDI 6022
A unique feature of the KaDeck is that there is no need for additional maintenance access panels on site. The fully hinged designer panel ensures that all components can be accessed with ease. This further guarantees compliance with the Hygiene Directive VDI 6022 and makes maintenance fast and simple.
EC tangential fans are used in the KaDeck, which are energy-efficient, have continuously variable control and are extremely quiet. The KaDeck is also very powerful – and really comes into its own in cooling mode. It can be ideally adapted as a wet or dry cooling model depending on the local conditions on site. The unit is also optionally available with a KaControl.
The sophisticated airflow is achieved by utilising the Coanda effect to provide comfort without creating draughts. A further benefit is that the metal unit casing can be powder coated in all RAL colours.
